Natalie on a Sunday
after Church as we are preparing to make Chili.
Natalie is the 9th form from School
#9 and has been with us for about 1 = years now.
What a great add for Hefty plastic bags that
you can use over and over again in
Ukraine
! I keep
my bread in them! She will be one of the translators
for guys from AIM when they get here. |

Nastya's supposed to be
getting the drinks ready to drink for Sunday lunch,
but is pretending to drink it all! |
|
|
|
 |
That's
me, Dougchik (that's what all my kids call me - a
tender name for Doug) cooking the chili! |

Here we are on March 29
celebrating Artem's 21st birthday by the
pulling of the ears as we sing happy birthday to him.
We had 13 for our singing night and the
celebration of his birthday afterwards.
Nearly all our group want to bring torts and
goodies and celebrate birthdays at my house. |
|
|
|
 |
This is what one of our
torts (cakes) looks like.
Don't you wish you wish you could have some? |
|
|
|
 |
This is Max waiting for
some of that delicious birthday tort!
Max is 15 and is in the 9th grade
and one of our most active boys. |

Here are two of our
Anyas. The
closest is Anya D. and she would kill me if she knew I
was sending you this picture!
Anya is our second oldest in Christ, is 17 and
in the 11th grade (which means she will
graduate this year).
The other Anya is Anya M. and has been coming
to classes since last fall and is in the 9th
form. |

 |
This is Sasha (we have
3 by that name, 2 guys and a girl!).
Sasha is 23 and has been coming to our Adult
Bible Club and singing night for about 2 months or so.
He is a graduate student, likes learning
English and has a real hunger to know the Bible more. |
|
|
|
 |
This
is Alina and Yulya.
They are both in the 11th grade at
School #9 and will graduate this year.
They are sisters in Christ and very best
friends! If
you have been reading my newsletters, they were the
two girls I highlighted this last couple of
newsletters. They
are such a delight to have with us! |

Olya S. (we have 2
Olyas) has been coming to our activities and classes
even before I came to
Ukraine
! She is
also in the 11th grade and will graduate
this year and leave Kremenchuk for a University
outside of the city.
She loves the Lord, but not yet enough to make
a commitment to Him.
I have had a very hard time trying to get a
Bible Study with her, but I really pray that she will
become a Christian before the summer is out.
She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on
the outside! Please
pray for her! |
